Neat, and tough to do synthesized

Just so you know i do play violin among a couple other instruments, so i'm not a techno junkie and do appreciate this music, and have played in quartets before to boot.

I loved the chords and how it flowed, that my friend was gorgeous. The only thing that lost me was some the melody, too many skips and leaps loses the listener a bit. Just make some of your lines closer together and you'l be just fine. When it leaps around like that though it just doesn't fly, at least in my opinion.

The song would be even more beautiful live i'm sure, with a violin doing more tasteful vibrato than the constant one provided by the synthesizer, which is completely not your fault, just a note to think about.

Overall i liked it a lot though!

9/10 for the melodies
5/5 because this doesn't deserve that low of a score

Thanks very much for the vote and feedback :D It's nice to hear from someone that has experience in string quartets, I play trombone so I've only ever heard those quartets play lol

I love your style

I follow the same style in composing as you do, where you just sit there, listen ot what you have and just feel what your heart wants to hear next after what you have already made. i feel like its the most natural way to make music and i do agree it takes longer, but good things only come with time right?

Anyways very great job. i wish i had the versitility with my program to make masterpieces like this, i only run in a free program called LMMS...its a little...underwhelming to say the least. i can't modify the presets or anything, but i do what i can. Check out my work if yor curious, and keep up yours! your doing a great job!

Only critique i'd like to give is i heard that piano line in the beginning too many times, and it was easy to pick out because of that half step dissonance at the end of the phrases. Thats what stuck out to me. Also, you have a problem i also battle with, your lines have no rests in them. Try making your melodies just have little gaps of silence at least, as strange as it sounded to me at first it add a lot.

Good Luck!

Thanks ^.^

Very fun!

any song that just lets me enjoy myself in all the ways i enjoy listening to music is a sweet thing indeed, i just love everything that happened here. wonderfull job man, i know how much i value reviews as an artist myself, i had to take the time to write one for sucha great job. its so cool that just some seemingly "generic" beats (not really, just lack of a better term) can be mixed with an interesting chord progression to just bounce and have a lot of fun.

Thanks for this :)

Thanks glad that you liked it. And I rarely use generic beats. Most of the beats in this song were made "by scratch." I think one of my favorite drum beats I've made in any song is in 2:21-2:45.

Plain...

just nothing different about it all. a good start if your really new at this is suppose, but itd be cool to hear some change in beats or chord progressions, and the song doesn't really "go anywhere" either.

better luck next time

Thank you for the review. This is a beta right now. I spent about 10 minutes on. I didn't know what to do with it after. Please listen to my other music too, please.

Sounds more like an alto...

its definetly real though. you couldn't get some of those neat human inflections without an impractical amount of work if its physically possible to do it at all.

nice tone to the person who played it though (i'm an alto player myself), wish i could get my sax to sound like that.

the 7 was because despite it being very chill, it velt sort of empty to me, and the solo very simple. i liked it, but i feel it had more potential

Iplaygames responds:

Was from pre-made loops, unfortunately... But someone really DID play this at a time.

Man this piece is old as dirt.

just another zelda remix...NOT

honestly i love this take on zelda, i've heard pretty many, but i've never heard such new ideas off of the original melody, and quite frankly, i love it!

from artist to artist, fantastic job.

PS: i LOVED the "glitch" part or whatever you'd like to call it at about 3:32, for a split second i thought it was my speakers or something!

Burn7 responds:

Thanks dude! Yeah I try to keep the variety as interesting as possible when I do covers/re-imaginings of video game songs.

I'm glad you liked my version!
